I’d like to introduce myself to you, I am Fatima Adel Al Junaibi where I am a teacher of your child at KG2. I will from Higher College of Technology, department of education.

I worked on how to connect my study with my practical experience through my teaching practice at various kindergartens around Al Ain City. Connecting both theoretical and practical work experience gained me with valuable abilities and skills. In turn, I have the ability to create and apply all that I managed in the college through improving children’s learning at this early stage.

I have various teaching philosophy where that is reflected in various areas including the following:
First, my beliefs about learning through play
The best philosophy that I care for is that learning occurs through play and that through using hands as learners learn better by doing and it is required for teachers to connect what they teach and provide to children with the outer nature. That philosophy exactly agrees with the Montessori teaching philosophy where it focused on children’s learning through play. According to the theory, children move freely where the basic philosophy of this theory is that play is the work of the child and that is achieved through acting and doing play activities as they contribute to the child’s healthy development.Through play there is a growth of developing of fine and gross motor skills, promote and increase children’s language, socialization, personal awareness, creativity, emotional well-being, promoting learning abilities and problem-solving. (" Play is the work of the child " Maria Montessori , 2017)

Second, my beliefs about parental/community involvement in education.
I support that parents should be connected with the school all the time as that in turn support children and improves their academic level. In turn, parents should be connected with the constant review of children’s levels at school and that requires more connection with teachers and the school administration. Here parents still are connected with their children’s development and even teachers provide parents with their children’s progress.According to that as what I already did where I created a group WhatsApp with parents to be involved in their children’s learning and even that has a great support to children. Parental involvement in the early years can be long lasting. Here the school provides parents with strategies of how to motivate children learning and also how to support and help children to learn at home. (Sumaiti, 2012)
