Here is the lesson plan that used it during the training.

“Heavy and Light”

Here is my reflection for the lesson:

In that day, I planned and taught a lesson “Heavy and Light”. I always remind students about the rules "who are good sitting and raise your hand to answer" and then all students stare to do the same. This way all the students listen and focus on the lesson.

I think I get the students understand that lesson. Also, they know the different between “Heavy and Light”. I let them feel the material and see the different by touching. I felt happy about the lesson because it was new for them and they got it from me.

On the carpet I put the song of the number I had some student counting fast and not singing the song but, I deal with it by told them to listen and say the number. Also, I was unhappy when the teacher when she tries to keep one of the student quiet because I could deal with it without any helps.

On focus group, I need to use alternative explanations if one does not work. I could approach the same explanation from a different learning style: auditory, haptic, visual. Also, I think something interesting for the opening. Also, on the focus group, I had one of the student didn't work. He started to make some noise and took off his shoes because he had allergies in has foot.  However, the students like the activity and they in enjoy it, unfortunately, there was no space for them and they understand what I want from them by asking some questions. So this way I will know who is struggle in the activity.

“My Body My Senses”​

Here is my reflection for the lesson:

 

March 13, 2016, On Saturday I explained lesson about My Senses. I thank the lesson was not bad it was good for me because the students understand the five senses. How did I know if they understand the lesson? I said a sentence then I let the students make their sentence, some students said in Arabic and some of them said in English. Also, they know the vocabulary of the five senses.

On the carpet luckily, I used a song about “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes” and it had some movement. So the students enjoyed it. Also, I get their attention for the lesson. I used sticker for the student who are good sitting and raise their hand to answer, and then all students stare to do the same. This way all the students listen and focus on the lesson.It’s help to save the time.

I wasn't happy when it was the time for clean up because the students they used to finish their work even if it time to clean up. Also, I surprised when the teacher plays the music to clean up. This is my third week and the teacher never uses this music to clean up. I had a problem with the strategy to clean up because the students they used any strategy to stop their work.

I think, I need to model correct questions in a voice that has more enthusiasm.
