Reflection on Observation Task 1
The most common reason for speaking is to manage children to communicate with each other and with the teacher and then to be reflected on the surrounding environment.
To be able to chat with others and to practice the language.
There were many boxes without ticks where, students A and B did not answer on learner ask a teacher a question. And even all the three students did not answer b more areas including, learner answers a pattern in paired work activity and others.
The lesson took around 10 to 15 minutes while students felt bored and I think they did not answer at the end as they felt boring as the story was on the second language.
The amount of talk was not enough as children’s level was weak in English and it was hard for them to understand the story as a whole as they know only simple words in English.
I think all that the 5rtecaher followed with children is an appropriate sequence for interaction. That’s because she knew the level of each child and she understood how she deal with them when she read a the story and she managed to deal with children.
Using the Arabic language in class was never used where all the explanation was in English.
